Parents, Teachers, and Students can all join! Both Family and Teacher Memberships are offered. Annual memberships run from August through July 31st, renewable on August 1st of each year.
With active membership in the Suzuki Music Association of California San Diego Branch, you’ll receive the following benefits:
TEACHER REFERRAL SERVICE
WORKSHOPS – Participation in Student Workshops, Parent Education workshops, teacher development workshops, and Chamber Music events.
CONCERTS – Participation in Graduation Recitals and Celebration Concerts at no additional cost.
SCHOLARSHIPS – Access to scholarship funds for students and teachers. Funds can be used for music institutes, camps, workshops, teacher training, or tickets for a musical performance. Music related items or activities will be considered if it enriches, motivates and inspires our young musicians and teachers.
NEWSLETTER – Receive our quarterly Newsletter that includes information and tips for parents, students and teachers and a calendar of upcoming events.
VOTING – SMAC Association voting privileges for teachers with automatic state membership.
PLAY-A-THON – Participation in the Play-a-thon to raise money for scholarships to support our local students and teachers.
COMMUNITY – Enhance our connection to the larger music community of like minded families.
